VI. Golf holidays
A country where you can play all year round.
Sunshine almost all year, courses by great architects, landscapes that change from one region to the next: Morocco has enough to keep a golfer busy over several trips. An official IAGTO member, Monarch Travel organises complete golf holidays, tee times included.
A group of enthusiasts, an incentive or individual golfers: we book the best tee times, choose hotels beside the fairways and take care of the rest, from transferring the bags to the prize-giving dinner.

History
More than a century of golf in Morocco.
Born in Tangier at the start of the 20th century, golf took root in Morocco under royal patronage, making the kingdom one of the world’s great golf destinations. Nearly forty courses, signed by the greatest architects, are played here all year round.

The Imperial
Marrakech & Essaouira
Playing in the sun, facing the snow-capped peaks of the High Atlas: in Marrakech, every round ends like a postcard. Palm groves, olive groves and lakes shape the country’s most beautiful courses.
- Royal Golf MarrakechThe historic course, in a garden of olive and orange trees.
- PalmGolf PalmeraieLakes and palm trees in the heart of the Palmeraie.
- Golf de MogadorBetween dunes and ocean, in Essaouira.

The seaside
Agadir & Taghazout
Here, winter feels like summer. Among eucalyptus, mimosas and ocean breezes, Agadir and Taghazout Bay offer peaceful courses just minutes from the beaches.
- Golf de TazegzoutPerched on a cliff, facing the Atlantic.
- Golf des DunesThree loops among eucalyptus trees and water features.
- Golf du SoleilLakes and waterfalls along flower-lined fairways.

The Royal
Rabat
The capital is home to the country’s largest golf course, host each year of the Hassan II Trophy. Playing here means walking the fairways of champions.
- Royal Golf Dar Es Salam45 holes among cork oaks and eucalyptus.
- The Montgomerie RabatBetween beach and forest, north of the city.

Between ocean and forest
The Casablanca coast
Greens lulled by the Atlantic, others hidden in the Bouskoura forest: the Casablanca coast combines golf, ocean and the art of living.
- Royal Golf de MohammediaOn the seafront, a demanding course facing the wind.
- Mazagan Golf ClubA links course by the ocean, in El Jadida.
- Royal Golf de BenslimaneAn oasis of cork oaks and eucalyptus.

The historic heart
Fez, Meknes & Ifrane
